Brendon, I can understand the anger of Royals fans. I was at a game recently and fans in the Diamond Club right behind home plate were holding signs saying things like "Sweep up the broken Glass". Until security came and took them away, it is quite possible that those were taxpayer funded security guards going after people saying bad things about the teams owner.

I don't see why the Royals would ever spend money with this deal. They cover a lot of their costs, and keep player salaries low, and just keep raking in the TV, attendance, concessions and shared revenues, and get others to cover more of their costs and even taxes.

I'll be curious to see if Lopez will get to continue as head of the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority.
